Barbara is a qualified Health & Social Care and Early Year’s specialist with over 40 years experience. Before joining PeoplePlus, she worked with individuals with a range of complex needs and disabilities in schools, colleges and residential settings. For 20 of these years, she worked in Further Education as a Curriculum Manager, Lecturer, Assessor, and in Internal Quality Assurance.
Barbara is passionate about Wellbeing. She has numerous certifications, and continues to complete courses in this area to support her understanding. Mental Health First Aid, Advocacy in the Workplace, Counselling, Understanding Behaviour that Challenges and courses on Mental Health for both children and adults are just a few of her areas of ongoing study and continuous professional development.
As a proponent of preventative and early intervention techniques, Barbara enables individuals to notice and respond effectively to triggers that unchecked can cause anxiety and stress.
Not only does she love to learn from others, but she has also devised new courses and delivered them to a range of diverse community groups.
Barbara believes that looking after our wellbeing helps us to engage, and benefits us with a more positive perspective on life and everyday challenges. Her warmth and compassion reach all of the people she works with.

Olivia is a wellbeing coach with extensive experience of working in community and private care settings. She has both designed and delivered health and wellbeing sessions to a wide and diverse range of groups and individuals, helping to improve their quality of life and mental wellbeing.
With a Personal Training and Therapy background Olivia has a passion for helping and allowing people to be the best version of themselves. To achieve this, Olivia gives her full support, guiding them along the way with her keen interest in and understanding of how to support positive Mental Health. Taking a flexible and adaptable approach to her practice, Olivia makes sure every person she works with is in receipt of person-centred service.
Olivia is a qualified Mental Health First Aid Trainer and has completed an Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care. Deeply committed to continuing professional development, Olivia is also a Level 2 Counsellor and has completed Suicide Awareness Training. Her upbeat personality and 'can do' attitude are infectious.
